박물관 사마란치 기념관은 사마란치를 기리고 올림픽 정신을 알리기 위해 지어진 박물관이다. 디자인은 올림픽 오륜에서 비롯되었다. 서로 교차하는 두 개의 원이 주 건물을 이루고, 나머지 세 개의 원은 추가적인 스포츠 공간을 담는 선큰 중정이 된다. 무한대 기호 형태의 매스에는 입구, 전시 공간, 옥상 정원, 서비스 기능을 하나의 흐름으로 연결하는 경사로 순환 동선이 포함되어 있다. 기념관에는 강연장, 기획 전시실, 윈터 가든도 마련되어 있다. 에너지 사용을 줄이기 위해 자연 채광을 세밀하게 검토하였다.
