온천 인테리어 디자인 서멀 스프링(Thermal Spring)은 일본 교토의 한 호텔 지하 1층에 자리한 온천 목욕 시설이다. 입구와 복도를 포함해 469제곱미터 규모의 실내 공간으로, 부지에서 솟아나는 천연 온천수를 사용한다. 디자인은 교토의 지질, 도시가 간직해온 정신적 전통, 그리고 이 땅에 새겨진 기억에서 영감을 얻었다. 부지에서 발견된 정원석은 새롭게 다듬어져 석조 조형물과 바닥재로 재사용되었다. 짙은 쪽빛의 흙벽은 이 지역의 염색 문화를 떠올리게 하며, 자연 그대로의 질감을 살린 화강암 벽은 지하 수맥을 연상시킨다.
