단독주택 RO54는 로스앤젤레스의 경사지 대지에 지어진 단독주택이다. 이 주택은 중앙의 보이드를 중심으로 엇갈리게 배치된 바닥판을 활용한 스플릿 레벨 구성을 취한다. 중앙을 가로지르는 브리지형 계단은 가장 깊숙한 층까지 햇빛과 시각적 연결을 끌어들여 공간 사이의 물리적·심리적 거리를 줄인다. 외피는 디지털 설계를 바탕으로 CNC 가공되었으며, 자동차의 유선형 형태를 따른다. 2층에 마련된 16피트 길이의 캔틸레버는 현관 캐노피 역할을 한다. 개방형 평면은 가구를 자유롭게 재배치할 수 있도록 한다.
