복합용도 건축 대구 알파시티에 위치한 도자기 미술관은 지형적 특성을 극복하는 배치를 통해 다양한 용도의 다목적성을 극대화하도록 설계되었습니다. 외관은 서로 다른 두 개의 매스가 상하로 적층된 형태를 특징으로 합니다. 하부층은 방문객이 접근 가능한 공공 공간으로 구성되어 있으며, 상부층은 사적인 연구 공간으로 이루어져 있습니다. 중정 디자인은 도자기의 구불구불한 형태에서 영감을 받아 외부를 향해 열리고 내부 공간을 감싸는 형태입니다. 이는 도시축에 적응하면서도 중정 공간의 내향적 특성을 유지합니다.
