도시 벤치 마칭 앤츠는 유동적인 형태의 예술적 접근과 모듈러 방식을 통한 연속성 연구를 제안함으로써 "도시 벤치"에 대한 일반적인 인식을 변화시키고자 합니다. 하나의 요소를 반복함으로써 더욱 복잡한 구성이 가능하며, 2개 또는 4개 유닛의 조합은 각각 "마칭 앤츠"와 "릴랙싱 앤츠"로 명명되었습니다. 디자인 프로세스의 또 다른 기본 원칙은 도시의 기존 인프라를 그대로 유지하는 것이었습니다. 빠르고 깔끔하며 번거로움 없는 설치를 보장하기 위해 "저스트 드롭 앤 포겟" 프로세스가 도입되었습니다.
